Niobium pentoxide can be used as nickel niobate single crystal, to make special optical glass, high frequency and low frequency capacitors and piezoelectric ceramic components, also used in the production of iron niobium and special steel required for all kinds of niobium alloy, is the raw material of niobium and its compounds. Also used as catalyst, refractory material.

Manufacture niobium salt and metal niobium, prepare standard solution. Used as piezoelectric conductor material in electronics industry.
